Flour Tortillas
I have been inspired by my sister to cut out the processed foods from our diet - and store bought tortillas are terrible. I was given this recipe by my friend Julie, and since everything she makes is good, I knew it was a keeper. Not to mention - they're so easy!
Ingredients:
3 Cup flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp salt
4-1/2 TBSP Olive Oil
1 Cup warm water
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients together. Add Olive Oil and mix, then water and mix well....knead a bit by hand. Let sit 1/2 hour. Then, squeeze small balls off the dough and roll out with a rolling pin (into whatever shape it wants to take) and cook for 10-15 seconds on medium heat (7 on my stove).
